Empty Beauty Products

Pleasure can be found in many ways.

For me, it is as simple as looking a what beauty products I have used recently. I always put my empty beauty products into a bag which I keep in the bathroom.
It is so satisfying when it is over-flowing to tip it out and see what memories it contains.

This was a great empties bag.  I had tried a lot of products which I really did enjoy using and in the end I picked the products which I would buy again.

Ole Henriksen – The Clean Truth Foaming Cleanser

I love anything Vitamin C and I really love these cleansers.  They are liquid but when you pump them they turn into a luxurious creamy foam.  Love, love, love.

Rodal – Vit C Brightening Cleanser

Again love it because it is Vitamin C. This one is a gel texture and adding a few drops of water made it a really creamy cleanser. I always love the clean fresh smell you get with a Vit C cleanser.

Ideally when using a Vitamin C cleanser make sure to massage into the skin for a couple of minutes so the ingredients have an effect on your skin.  If you don’t have time to do this then I would recommend just a cream cleanser.

Clarins – Renew-Plus Body Serum

Love this iconic Clarins product. It is a great exfoliating and moisturising body serum.  Great for dehydrated and dry skin. If you want more moisture, as this is quite light in texture, I would add another moisturiser or oil on top. The smell is amazing, it is so Clarins.

Bumble & Bumble – Hairdressers Invisible Oil Primer

This was a surprise product. I have loads of hair (I was obviously first in the hair queue when I was born!) and keeping it sleek is hard work.  So hard I rarely bother to do much with my hair.  I just spritzed this into my hair and it really tamed it.  Definitely going to get the large bottle of this.

Clinique – Dramatically Different Moisture Lotion (DDML)

I wasn’t sold on Clinique until a friend offered me a job with them, and I then took time out to research them. I was amazed and took the job.  DDML is part of the famous Clinique 3 Step routine, but it is now a product I can’t live without. After cleansing DDML restores the skins moisture barrier.  You can leave it there but for even better results apply your chosen moisturiser on the top.

Guerlain – Cushion foundation

I really liked this foundation, my first ever foundation product from Guerlain. However, I was disappointed that it ran out so quickly.  An extravagant treat.

Milk – Cooling Water Eye Patches

My first experience of using Milk products. I love eye pads and leave them on whilst chilling around the house! These pads adhered to the skin really well and cooled the eye area as well and plumping with water. Great if you are suffering from hay fever or tired eyes.

Elemis – Ice-Cool Foaming Shave Gel

One for the boys as my husband now has to put his empties into the bag as well.  I have been getting him this shaving gel for many years, simply because it is his favourite.  He says that you don’t need a lot and it last forever.  This was a travel size and it comes in a 200ml as well.

Tell me about some great products which you have tried and now love.  I like to know what you use. 🤔😀

    Hi Tracy,

I tried the Australian Bodycare Eucalyptus & Peppermint Body Wash that you recommended and it is fab! You can get so much lather from a few squirts, and it feels so rich & creamy on your skin. It’s amazing how it rinses off so quickly as well. Great call!
I cannot wait to try out some of these products – they all sound fab! I will let you know how I get on with them.
Keep up the good work and keep the recommendations coming! 😀
