The Body Shop – Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
This is a divine melting cleanser from The Body Shop. Amazing value for money £10 for a 90ml tub.
Everyone can use this cleanser, even a sensitive skin as camomile is soothing. You only need a small amount of product, warm it together in your hands and apply to the face. Massage over the skin, no need to rub as it glides effortlessly. The cleanser will dissolve heavy and waterproof make-up, so this would be my first cleanse if I was removing make-up. I prefer to use an eye make-up remover so I haven’t tried this on my eyes but as it is safe for contact lens wearers then you could do this. This could also be your evening cleanser as camomile has a calming and relaxing effect.
The texture in the tub is firm but on contact with the skin becomes very velvety and soft. After massaging on the skin to breakdown make-up I added a few drops of water to emulsify and rinsed with water. You can get a muslin cloth to remove with, but I wasn’t keen on this. For me it was too small and thin. You could use damp cotton wool, towelling mitt or a face cloth as well.
My skin was left clean and nourished with no tight or dry feeling.
The key ingredient Camomile, is farmed in Norfolk, England and gives the cleanser a subtle soft fragrance which enhances your cleansing experience.
